Our Team

Laura Fairman is the Founder and Lead Designer of Blue Canvas, a web and graphic design consultancy. Since 2001, Laura has enabled small and mid-size businesses to have confidence in all facets of their online and printed branding. Laura is motivated by the unique challenges independently owned businesses face and takes pride in building long-term working relationships with her clients.

Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in 1999. She majored in Art and double-minored in Music and European Studies.

Laura has lived in Chicago for many years, but is a country girl at heart. Having grown up in Missouri with horses, she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She currently lives in Evanston, Illinois with her husband and two daughters.
